Almost Bedtime

I realized I haven't written since my birthday, and then I also realized that I went away last Friday, and came back yesterday. lol I know I was busy the week before my trip, too, so that's another reason I haven't written in a while. Anyway, I went to my grandma's house in a little town called Horseheads, NY. It's right near Elmira, and it's a quiet area for the most part. It's about a 3 hour drive from my house, and usually very beautiful the closer we get there. The trip was very nice. I saw family that I haven't seen in quite some time, and it was so great seeing them! The one thing I took home from the trip: my grandma's sore throat. Grrr! So now I'm sick, and slowly (ever so slowly) am I getting better. It's so annoying not to be able to take a decongestant, or else I'd have this dumb cold gone by now! Ugh!! Anyhow, I plan on writing more about my trip, but right now, I need to get some sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to get some without coughing all night! I'm sooo tired....have a good night!

Health Changes

 I finally thought I was making progress with my anxiety that had ramped up again back in November of last year. It's been a very long road of not feeling good, trying to increase the Remeron, trying to learn once again that my life is worth a whole lot of SOMETHING. The tremendous loss of my mom, my grandma, a couple of dear phriends, and the nursing home volunteering put a huge pressure of my value of what my life is supposed to be like. My Most Inspiring Possession

A dear friend named Judi, whose journal I've been reading for years, has brought back her ARTSY ESSAY CONTEST ! The Ideal Day

Once again, it's that time of month for dear Judi's Artsy Essay Contest! Please see the rules and regulations for this month here . I entered a couple month's ago when Judi decided to revive this wonderful contest, and decided I'd like to give it a shot this month! Here goes! My Ideal Day My ideal day would start out at 7am to get ready for work, instead of getting up to take a pill. My ideal day would be going to work as a teacher, instead of wondering if I'd feel well enough to do anything for that day.
