Happy New Year (Three Days Late)!

It's a brand new year! Many people see it as a brand new beginning, a way to start out fresh, to break old habits or start new ones. Some people see it as nothing different, just another year to add to the calendar. I usually try to think of a new year as a fresh start, but I don't make resolutions. I've tried in the past, and I never keep them! Instead, I just try to think of what I'd like to see happening for myself in the new year. For 2012, these are a few of the things I'd like to happen:

*I'd like to find a job of some sort. I know I can't really do a full time job, so it would need to be part time. I'd love to be able to find something to do from home. Going out in the winter is so hard! I might even consider just having a part time job for the summer. I'm on the lookout!

*I have an incredible amount of beads in the other room, and I'm not really able to have a business like I would love to own. I make jewelry as gifts for friends sometimes, and a few people here and there ask me to make things, but I really need to find something else to do with all the beads! So I'm considering several options, including blog giveaways, and just donating to women's shelters or something like that. I'll have to look into it!

*I usually only have 2 PH support group meetings a year, but this year I want to try adding a few more, mainly in the spring/summer. My group members really like getting together, so trying to have a couple more meetings, even if they are only for coffee or dinner or something, would be a great idea!

*Speaking of PH, the biannual PHA conference is this summer in Orlando, FL. I've applied for a full scholarship, and will hopefully find out by the end of the month if I'm eligible for it or not. I have a feeling I will be since I've never been to a PHA conference before, and because I'm a support group leader. My only problem is finding a way there! I have a feeling I might need to go by myself, so I'm trying to think of the easiest way to get there, which would most likely be flying. Of course, I've never ever flown before. And I don't really want my first major flight to be to a huge and very busy conference when I have no idea how I'm going to feel. But I will figure it out when I find out about the scholarships!

*I'd like to see what happens with K. and I. I've really been enjoying the time we spend together. It's been almost every weekend for quite awhile. We talk every day either on the phone or email or both, and texting is included, too. I still feel like it's not real, but I know it is! lol He's been a very sweet man, and I'm just hoping things continue to go well.

*Of course, above all else, I want to see my health continue to be stable, or even improve just a little bit!! I hope to do this by continuing to eat right, and increasing my exercise. I'm really so thankful that most of the time I feel well. I'm able to do things around the house, and go out often (unless it's the winter and it's only a handful of degrees, like it was today!!), and not always feel the need for a nap. I'm praying that it continues!!

I'm sure that during the year, I will have different goals or things I'd like to see happen in my life, but right now, these are the ones that are on the top of my list. I'm thinking very positive for a great 2012 for me, my family, my friends, and all of my phriends (PHers who are friends)!!
