Here is a nifty little survey my friend sent to me earlier today. I don't know where she got it, but I thought I'd just copy and paste in my journal! With my answers, of course. lol

THREE PARTS OF YOUR HERITAGE: Let's look at my name, shall we? Colleen S. That right there is half Irish, half German. lol I'm also Polish, amongst other things!

THREE THINGS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND:- Why my cat likes plastic things, including bags, tubing, tape, etc - Why such horrible natural disasters occur, such as the tsunami in India - Why life seems so unfair to people who are decent!

THREE THINGS THAT ANNOY YOU: - people who do not say excuse me when they need to get past you - people who don't use their turning signals when driving, or forget to turn them off! - when my cat decides I'm a chew toy, and goes after me until I can finally reach the spray bottle!

THREE OF YOUR EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS:- my orange juice, breakfast and daily news online - my daily nap with Mittens - listening to any type of music at some point during the day!

THREE THINGS YOU ARE WEARING RIGHT NOW:- my pjs - my very comfy and soft socks from Lisa - my bathrobeTHREE THINGS ON YOUR DESK:- pictures of my friends - a water fountain (that I rarely use, even though I thought it would be great for the ocean theme) - a stack of bills I have to file away!

THREE THINGS YOU SAY THE MOST:- Oh poop! - I love you, Mittens! (I know, sounds sad, but I tell him that all the time lol) - Damn tubing!! (after I've tripped over it for the 4th time, or accidentally yanked it off my face lol)

THREE THINGS ABOUT PEOPLE THAT APPEAL TO YOU:- their sincerity - a person's smile...I can't stand it when someone doesn't smile at some point when you see them - their laughter

THREE THINGS YOU CAN'T DO:-I can't sing, even though I love to try lol -I can't run, one of the things I would try doing first if I ever had a transplant -I can't swim, wish I could do that too

THREE OF YOUR FAVORITE HOBBIES:- being online lol - reading a good book - making jewelry, which is now hopefully turning into a profit lol

THREE THINGS YOU WANT REALLY BAD RIGHT NOW:- Ben & Jerry's frozen yogurt with the chocolate chip cookie dough and brownies - a digital camera - summer!!! warm weather!!!! sitting in Dee's pool if they decide to open it up this year!!! lol

THREE CAREERS YOU ARE CONSIDERING:- writing children's books....definitely doable, just have to get myself more motivated - editing....I am such a spellchecker, etc, that this job makes sense to me lol - teaching....I'd get back into it in a heartbeat if I ever got healthy enough to do it again

THREE PLACES YOU WOULD GO ON VACATION:- Hawaii - Australia - anywhere else warm and that has a beach!

THREE THINGS YOU WANT TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE- make a lot more people aware of pulmonary hypertension - publish at least one book - meet someone and have a child of my own, even if I can't have it myself

Health Changes

 I finally thought I was making progress with my anxiety that had ramped up again back in November of last year. It's been a very long road of not feeling good, trying to increase the Remeron, trying to learn once again that my life is worth a whole lot of SOMETHING. The tremendous loss of my mom, my grandma, a couple of dear phriends, and the nursing home volunteering put a huge pressure of my value of what my life is supposed to be like. My Most Inspiring Possession

A dear friend named Judi, whose journal I've been reading for years, has brought back her ARTSY ESSAY CONTEST ! I'm very excited about this, and hope that others will read the wonderful essays already posted in Judi's blog! When I first moved out of my parents' house, almost 9 years ago, I took this possession with me. The Ideal Day

Once again, it's that time of month for dear Judi's Artsy Essay Contest! Please see the rules and regulations for this month here . I entered a couple month's ago when Judi decided to revive this wonderful contest, and decided I'd like to give it a shot this month! Here goes! My Ideal Day My ideal day would start out at 7am to get ready for work, instead of getting up to take a pill. My ideal day would be going to work as a teacher, instead of wondering if I'd feel well enough to do anything for that day.
